About Project
Unlocking Circular Fashion Design Excellence (ReMODE) (Project Reference: 101194072) is an EU-funded Erasmus+ Centers of Vocational Excellence project that aims to transform the fashion and textile industry by promoting sustainability, circular economy practices, and digital innovation. The project focuses on bridging the skills gap through vocational education and training (VET), equipping professionals with the expertise needed for a greener, fairer, and more responsible fashion industry.
ReMODE aims to upskill and reskill professionals in the textile and clothing sector by establishing five Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs). These hubs will serve as innovation-driven learning spaces, ensuring that education meets the evolving demands of the green and digital transition in the fashion industry.
ReMODE is a collaborative effort between five European countries, each contributing expertise in sustainable fashion and education: Turkey, Greece, Italy, Germany, Finland.
- Develop innovative training programs for sustainable textile and fashion production.
- Create industry-relevant curricula focused on circular economy principles.
- Foster collaboration between VET institutions, universities, businesses, and policymakers.
- Support work-based learning and promote entrepreneurship in sustainable fashion.
- Enhance digital and eco-design skills for professionals and students.
Through research, education, and industry partnerships, ReMODE is reshaping the future of fashion—making it more sustainable, ethical, and forward-thinking.
